Jordan Brackett
                                                  began his yoga journey in 2012 while attending University of North Carolina in Wilmington. It was immediate love, immediate connection - he was hooked! In 2016, Jordan's yoga practice led him to Kalani Honua, the largest retreat and wellness center on Hawaii's Big Island. While living and working at Kalani, he completed a 200 hour Unified Yoga Teacher Training through the Peak Beings Yoga School. It's during this time in Hawaii that Jordan fell in love with Kundalini Yoga and the 26x2/Bikram series. While living in Pahoa, Jordan commuted 3-4 times a week to take intensive workshops, and to practice Bikram Yoga regularly at Hot Yoga Hilo; it was  there that he felt his yoga experience intersect and align. To this day, when teaching Bikram Yoga, you'll hear him say, "The Sequence Works!"
Upon leaving Hawaii, Jordan spent time in Los Angeles, where he took daily classes with luminaries including Bryan Kest and Govind Das. Shortly thereafter, he returned home to NC to steward his family's farm, and pursue studies at The Asheville School of Massage and Yoga.  Jordan graduated from ASMY in 2018, and opened a massage practice in Shelby, NC.  While in Shelby, he trained and mentored with Dr. Don Miller and Senior Bikram Instructor, Janet Horn at YES Yoga. In August 2019, Jordan completed a year-long, 300 hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with Ravi Singh and Bob Bauer in Asheville, NC.  
Jordan's yoga classes are accessible, heart-centered, refreshing, and meditative.  Jordan's bodywork sessions are therapeutic in nature, and have a holistic focus. With an extensive knowledge of physical and energetic anatomy, he offers a blend of modalities including swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial release.                         
Jordan moved to St. Simons Island in January 2022. He is a yoga instructor at the fitness center and a massage therapist at the five-star spa at Sea Island.  He teaches yoga and breathwork classes, conducts private sessions, and offers therapeutic bodywork sessions at our studio.  He also is  studying Pilates with Rachael and pursuing his certification with Balanced Body.
